About Charities @ Work

Charities @ Work is a group of five national charities representing a cross section of major concerns which affect our daily lives. The five charities are:

• Help the Aged- working to improve the quality of life for older people

• British Red Cross - caring for people in crisis

• NSPCC - committed to the protection of children

• Scope - the leading disability charity in the UK

• RSPB - taking action for wild birds and the environment

Charities @ Work raises funds through Payroll Giving and all donations are split equally between the charities. The consortium has been in operation since 1987 and involved in Payroll Giving since the inception of the scheme in the same year.

Membership of the consortium does not necessarily indicate endorsement of the views or activities of the other members.
