What is Payroll Giving?Payroll Giving is a tax effective way of donating money to charity through your monthly salary. In any £1.00 that you earn, 22p (on normal tax rate) will go to the tax man. Because you pledge the gift to charity the tax man is not entitled to any of it, in fact he gives that 22p tax to charity too.
